Self Improvement - Don't even Bother!

The SELF cannot be improved upon. All we can aspire to have a glimpse at our ever-present GOD CONNECTION. What we can do though, is to cut out our self-imposed interferences. That’s all! We can't will ourselves towards GOD. How can we trust the self - the ingenious, self-preserving force - to guide us towards holiness?

When we cut out negative people, we may sever the connection that tells us that something inside is not quite kosher. When we focus on positive thinking, we might simply run away from the dark cancer cells that grow inside of us. Yes, we can awaken to our SELF, but the best way of getting there is by jumping over the same hurdles that life throws at everyone.

Life is the best life-coach there is. All we have to do is to choose a mission of passion and purpose and then see where life takes us. The pain we experience in order to fulfill our mission merely shows us the interferences that are still holding us back. There is nothing to complain about, the harder life pushes us down, the more forceful we splash to the surface.

Spiritual travelers are in the same league as everyone else. Life alerts everyone to the VOICE. It is just that most are too busy to notice. The pain everyone has to shoulder peers a hole into the veil that we mistakenly took as reality before. Again, most people are too busy plastering over the pain so they miss the opportunity to look at what lies beyond the self.

Our mission, our ability to go within, and our realization that life looks out for us rather than pushing us down, is the WAY. Yes, we can position ourselves for the Awakening by following the WAY moment by moment. We can be the artist who has a VISION of GOD's KINGDOM every day. We can learn to hear the VOICE in life's messiness and busyness.

We don’t have to improve on anything. Let’s open our eyes here and now and let’s hang out with HER messengers. All the positive attributes that our self improvement books talk about come naturally along the WAY.
